Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) has expanded its Melbourne office with the appointment of former Holding Redlich partner Kimberley MacKay.

Specialising in regulatory investigations and dispute resolution, MacKay has represented both regulatory bodies and corporate entities in regulatory investigations and prosecutions in corporation, financial services and competition issues. She has defended clients in large class actions at first instance and on appeal.

She has handled breach of contract, negligence, misleading and deceptive conduct, oppression, and breach of director duties cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. She has acted in proceedings related to company administration and liquidation matters, such as undertaking liquidators' examinations, and prosecuting proceedings against directors, advisors, and other third parties for insolvent companies.

MacKay also logged stints at Arnold Bloch Leibler and Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst). Additionally, she gained international experience in a legal role for London-based British Telecommunications.

Her NRF tenure commenced today.
