Lane Neave strengthens Auckland partnership with new add

Lane Neave has strengthened its partnership in Auckland with the addition of Joshua Jones.

Jones brings both local and global experience in tackling cross-border acquisition and leveraged finance. He has worked with banks, private equity sponsors, corporates and non-bank lenders.

“Joshua’s connections and expertise – locally, nationally, and internationally – are true assets for the Lane Neave team as we continue to grow our four New Zealand offices", managing partner Andrew Shaw said.

Jones focuses on banking, restructuring and insolvency law. He has provided guidance to clients on complex restructuring, workout and insolvency issues. His clients include corporate debtors and creditors, directors, insolvency practitioners, and other stakeholders in businesses experiencing financial difficulties.

Before joining Lane Neave, he logged a stint with White & Case in London. He later became executive director for a Japanese global investment bank before returning to New Zealand.

Jones is dual-qualified to practise in New Zealand and England and Wales.
