Sierra Legal, a boutique corporate and commercial law firm specialising in M&A, corporate transactions, and commercial contracts, launched its automation services division in 2019.
Arreis Automation is a bespoke document automation platform that combines the firm’s legal and technical expertise, to code and host contracts and other documents used on a repetitive basis by clients. Automation involves the “coding” of existing documents by the firm’s experienced legal staff and the creation of a bespoke webapp that can be accessed by a client to create unlimited future versions of the documents. This innovation creates efficiencies in document preparation, reduces the need for legal input, reduces the risk of human error, and allows for multiple documents to be created simultaneously and consistently using the same data.
In addition to Arreis Automation, Sierra Legal also leverages innovative technology to enable its lawyers to work remotely from home offices. A number of different fee arrangements, including fixed monthly retainers and virtual secondments, are on offer to clients.
