WFW picks up win at 2024 Australian ADR Awards

Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has picked up the Australian Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group of the Year award at the 2024 Australian ADR Awards.

The firm’s ADR practice group was recognised at a ceremony held last Friday 22 March at Sydney’s The Australian Golf Club. WFW described the award as “one of the most significant” of the night.

The firm’s international disputes team was launched in 2021 under the leadership of partner Nathan Eastwood. The team focuses on international alternative dispute resolution, including investor-state arbitration, state-state dispute settlement, and disputes before the World Trade Organisation. The team members, some of whom are fee earners with qualifications in English and Australian law, are knowledgeable in all major arbitral rules such as the ICSID, HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, SCC, SIAC, and UNCITRAL.
