Law Squared appoints new in-house legal specialist

Law Squared has welcomed in-house legal specialist Georgina (Georgie) Gane to lead its Law Squared as a Service (LSaaS) offering.

Gane has amassed over 15 years of experience in the profession, having held roles at MYOB and served as GC and company secretary for Pepperstone. She has advised boards and executive teams on general commercial law matters, contract negotiations, financial services regulation, privacy and cybersecurity, corporate governance, and risk management.

Law Squared founder and director Demetrio Zema highlighted Gane’s grasp of the cost certainty and flexibility needs of in-house counsel as the factor that made her ideal for the role. Gane will succeed corporate and commercial lawyer Alexandra Geelan, who will now focus on the firm’s UK offering from London.

Law Squared also brought in legal entrepreneur and corporate lawyer Rohan Bilimoria to serve as its global community development lead. He has worked with Magic Circle firms and Fortune 500 companies in London, Moscow, New Delhi, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Bilimoria has also collaborated with Linklaters, Mayer Brown, KFC, Pizza Hut, Westpac, and Deutsche Bank.
