Jones Day welcomes Michael Bartosch as an M&A partner in Munich

Michael Bartosch has joined Jones Day as an M&A partner in the corporate practice. He is based in the firm’s Munich office.

Bartosch previously spent 17 years at Baker & McKenzie, where he assisted clients in cross-border and domestic M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions. He advises clients on corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, and various corporate law matters. Bartosch has particular experience serving companies in the healthcare, life sciences, industrials, manufacturing, and transportation industries.

"Michael is a renowned and experienced transactions lawyer in Germany, which is an important component of our worldwide corporate practice," said Vica Irani, co-leader of the corporate practice. "His breadth of experience in corporate law matters is an important addition to our strong European capabilities and we are pleased to welcome him to Jones Day."

Bartosch joins the corporate practice, which brings together the firm's transactional work worldwide, encompassing M&A and private equity.
