Ex-McCabes CFO commences as Meridian Lawyers CCO

Former McCabes CFO Christine Gheysen has commenced a stint as Meridian Lawyers’ new CCO.

Gheysen has held a variety of senior operational roles throughout her career, which spans about two decades. She has spent nearly 10 years focusing on the legal industry, having worked with both global and local law firms.

She was Partners in Performance’s finance head, and also served as King & Wood Mallesons’ group financial controller.

“Christine will be a great asset to our team. With her track record as a seasoned business executive and her strong strategic management skills, I have no doubt that she will play a fundamental role in helping to drive our business forward,” Meridian Lawyers managing director Paul Baker said.

Meridian Lawyers is the sole Australian law firm within the Insuralex Global Insurance Lawyers Group. The firm concentrates on insurance law, health law, corporate and commercial law, workplace relations and safety, and commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
