Davies Collison Cave grows with laterals and promotions

As clients ask for a broader set of services, the Davies Collison Cave group is growing with lateral hires and promotions.

Davies Collison Cave Law (DCCL) has welcomed Craig Finlayson as principal lawyer. Finlayson, who has joined the firm with his team, was most recently a principal at Macpherson Kelley.

The move has expanded the firm’s offerings into at least five different areas, DCCL said. DCCL managing principal Chris Jordan said that while the firm is one of Australia’s leading IP and technology law firms, clients have been increasingly asking the firm to provide a broader range of services.

“Craig and his team's expertise in the corporate and private client advisory, mergers and acquisitions, tax and property areas will fill a gap in our service offering and allow us to provide many of the services our clients have been asking us to provide for a number of years,” Jordan said.

DCCL and Davies Collison Cave (DCC) have also bolstered the group with 20 promotions, including the promotion of Carly Mansell as principal. Mansell works in DCC’s trademarks groups, with extensive experience managing both small and large trademark portfolios for clients based in Australia and beyond.
