Addisons has appointed M&A specialist David Stammers as a partner in its corporate practice.

Stammers has particular experience in providing foreign investment-related guidance related to offshore investors and has over 25 years of private equity experience. He has advised international private equity firms on all stages of the private equity transaction cycle, including fund formation, sponsor team equity and carry arrangements to acquisitions, and portfolio company exits.

He has been recognised by Chambers Asia-Pacific and as one of Australia’s Best Lawyers in private equity, venture capital, commercial, corporate law, and M&A.

According to Addisons managing partner Kieren Parker, Stammers’ M&A and private equity experience extends beyond Australia, and the appointment is expected to “significantly bolster” the firm’s corporate team, which now consists of nine partners.
